• 2nd International Lymphoedema Framework Conference: Conference Theme - a Patient Centred Approach. Sponsored by the Lymphoedema Support Network, the British Lymphology Society, the American Lymphedema Framework Project, the Canadian Lymphedema Framework, and the Japanese Lymphoedema Framework. This conference will be taking place at the Brighton Centre, UK March 23-25, 2010. The 2nd ILF Conference will be preceded on March 22 by an Open Space Meeting dedicated to the whole International Lymphoedema Community. For more information visit the website: www.lympho.org

• The Saskatchewan Lymphedema Learning Association (SLLA) AGM: scheduled for April 24, 2010. For more information about this event contact board member e_mooney.rmt@sasktel.net or sasklmph@yahoo.ca.

• The Alberta Lymphedema Association's first Lymphedema Awareness Symposium: Will be taking place Monday May 17, 2010 at the Clara Christie Theatre in the Health Science Centre (adjacent to the Foothills Hospital in Calgary). Dr. Andrea Cheville from the Mayo Clinic and Dr. Pierre-Yves von der Weid from the University of Calgary are their key note speakers. There will also be a vendors market. 8 AM – Presentation for Nurses, O.T.’s, Massage Therapists and other Health Professionals; 1 PM – Presentation for Patients and Family Members; 5:30 PM – Presentation for Doctors. Food and Refreshments will be served at all sessions These presentations are offered free of charge by the Alberta Lymphedema Association to enhance the quality of care for people with lymphedema.

• 36th European Congress of Lymphology: Will take place May 14-16, 2010 at the Classical Athens Imperial Hotel, in Athens, Greece. The congress is being sponsored by the Greek Society of Lymphology. • The fourth convening of the Gordon Research Conference(GRC): Molecular Mechanisms in Lymphatic Function and Disease, will take place June 2010 in Lucca, Italy. The highly respected Gordon Research Conference Series, initially established as an outgrowth of the 2002 LRF-National Institutes of Health co-sponsored think tank conference, The Lymphatic Continuum, continues to greatly advance the field of lymphatic research.
